AYLESFORD HOUSE

EWSHOT – HART BC

Originally a dated 1960s dormer bungalow, Aylesford House was transformed into a bold contemporary family home that embraces its woodland setting and panoramic views stretching more than 40 miles.

Designed to allow the family to remain in residence throughout construction, the entire first floor was rebuilt beneath a temporary scaffold roof. A new cantilevered timber-framed upper level and glazed rear extension maximise light, space and the home's remarkable outlook, creating a seamless connection between the interior and landscape.

Clad in sustainable Kebony timber and built to high environmental standards, the house combines exceptional thermal performance with carefully crafted contemporary design.

Aylesford House has received national recognition as the principal filming location for ITV's Finding Alice and was later featured on Channel 4's Extraordinary Extensions with Tinie Tempah, celebrating the project as an inspiring example of transformative residential architecture.
